Watercolor Commissions

Stephen started his artistic career doing watercolors. Preparation, masking, washes, layers, scrubbing, lifting color, controlled accidents, preserving white, precision, abandon, chaos, mud, and failures that cant be fixed – difficult to work with but gorgeous fluid transparency when the magic happens. Watercolors are the right choice for projects where framing under glass is desired and maximum dimensions do not exceed 22 x 30 inches.
